Will It Remove My Client's Tattoos?

If you've ever used one of these bad boys for yourself, you might have noticed that a lot of these machines work are at least "okay" for getting out black, red, yellow, and pink (to varying degrees).

What doesn't work so well most times that we've seen AMAZINGLY KICK-A$$ results by comparison are with your greens and blues and to a lesser degree - purple.

How Many Treatments Will It Take?

As a wise man once said, "this depends on a great many things". Namely, the following:

  1. What type of ink was used?
  2. How much was used?
  3. Color of the ink, depth of the ink, and the location on the body.
  4. Also, tattoos that are closer to the heart tend to clear faster than those that are not. (So feet are a bit tougher)

Again, everybody has different factors, but we have seen an approximate 50% reduction in treatments vs. traditional Q-Switch lasers.

How Much Do I Charge My Client?

What you charge is ultimately up to you, but most commonly, there are two ways to sell this service:

1) By the Session

Session times will range slightly by size and also by the colors in the tattoo, as some colors are more difficult to treat, but the time to treat is MUCH quicker than the time it takes to do the actual tattoo.  The lasers we work with and recommend are even faster than many of the competing devices because of the effective diameter of the laser beam. See more detailed comparison here.

 Sample By the Session Pricing

  • Size 0 (0.5″ x 0.5″ / 0.25 sq. inches): ~$59 per treatment
  • Size 1 (1″ x 1″ / 1 sq. inch): ~$79 per treatment
  • Size 2 (2″ x 2″ / 4 sq. inches): ~$99 per treatment
  • Size 3 (3″ x 3″ / 9 sq. inches): ~$119 per treatment
  • Size 4 (4″ x 4″ / 16 sq. inches): ~$139 per treatment
  • Size 5 (5″ x 5″ / 25 sq. inches): ~$159 per treatment
  • Size 6 (6″ x 6″ / 36 sq. inches): ~$179 per treatment
  • Custom (larger than Size 6): ~$199+ per treatment

Will  It Hurt the Client?

Boy, if we all had a nickle for every time we've answered this obvious question - am  I right?

Everybody has a different experience with tattoo removal. Does it hurt? It's going to hurt some; the question is how much. The tattoo removal process is likely to hurt about as much as the tattoo process itself.

Both cold and topical numbing cream can be used on the area if needed.
