To edit the pages of the site, click the Pages button in the admin’s navigation. This will show a list of all top-level pages. Pages currently set to show in the navigation of the site are displayed in bold, while hidden pages aren’t.
Viewing Subpages
To view the subpages of a page, click the button to the left of it. If the page has no subpages, this button will be disabled.
Reordering Pages
Reordering pages controls the order in which they display in the navigation. To change a page’s position, click and drag the button to drag the page to its new position. This change will take effect immediately.
Rearranging Pages
Rearranging pages controls the page hierarchy – which pages are subpages of which other pages. To make an existing page the subpage of another existing page, hover the page to be moved and click the button. All pages will now have a
button. If the page you want to make this page a subpage of isn’t displayed, see Viewing Subpages. To move a page to the top level, use the
button at the top of the list next to the label “Top-Level Pages”. When you have found the target page, click the
button. This change will take effect immediately.
Removing Pages
To remove a page, hover the page and click the button. This will permanently delete the page. To instead temporarily hide a page in the navigation, see Options Tab.
Adding New Pages
To add a new top-level page, click the button next to the “Top-Level Pages” label at the top of the pages list. To add a new subpage, hover the page to add a subpage to, and click the
button. Choose a title for the page and enter it into the “Title” field. The title will be displayed on the site at the top of the page content and in the title bar. In the “Content” field, enter the page content. For instructions on using the rich text editor, click here. If, instead of having content, this page should redirect to another page, enter the URL to redirect to into the “Redirect” field. When all necessary fields are completed, click the “Create Page” button. The new page will be created immediately and will open in the page editor.
Editing Pages
To edit a page, click the name of the page from the page list.
Content Tab
The Content tab allows editing of the page title and page content that were entered during page creation.
Options Tab
- Show in navigation: This option shows the page in the site’s primary navigation.
- Hide from the search engine: This option hides the page from the site’s search feature.
- Show in gray nav: This option shows the page in the site’s secondary navigation.
- Hide the right sidebar: This option hides the right sidebar on the page, allowing for more room for page content.
- Redirect: If this page should redirect to another page, enter its URL here.
SEO Tab
The SEO tab can be used to help optimize the page for search engines. Enter keywords and a description of the page here.
Analytics Tab
The Analytics tab displays statistics for the page. For details on the types of statistics it can display, see 1. Dashboard.
Backup Tab
The Backup tab provides a backup of the page content as it was before the most recent save. To restore to this backup, press the “Restore from Backup” button.
Modules Tab
The Modules tab is used for enabling, disabling, and configuring various page-specific features. To enable or disable a page module, click the button in the lower right corner of the module icon. To configure the page module, click the module icon itself.
